Israel: The Dead Sea

I grew up reading about the many amazing wonders of the world. I never would have thought that I would ever see such places as a journalist. The Dead Sea has always been on my bucket list. The feeling of floating in it was something I was not ready for.
The drive down to the the Dead Sea from the mountains was great because the elevation marks showed you how far below sea level you were.
Before reaching the lowest point on land, signs warn of quicksand! Watch your step on the beach.
We made it to the Dead Sea! 1,388ft below sea level! Lowest place on land!
The water was almost hotter that the air temp! Felt like bath water!
